Uman pocket, August of 1941

A set of four maps made for a german author, currently working on a book about the adventures of his father, Sergeant of the 477th Infantry Regiment 477 – 257th Infantry Division – on the eastern front. These maps cover a major event detailed in the book, with the Uman pocket events in the summer of 1941, where his father unit, was intensely involved in this rather unknown siege.
